Lori & Michael's Engagement Session/Meredith College/JC Raulston Arboretum

So, when you're told that their engagment session was more fun than the Fair, you know you're an entertaining photographer!!  We met this couple for the first time for their engagement session and could not have been more delighted that they chose Thornton Photography to photograph their engagement & wedding!  We had so much fun photographing this couple - watching them laugh and talk during their session - it is apparent that they have much love for each other.  We began their session at Meredith and then braved the Fair traffic to photograph at JC Raulston Arboretum.  We had to park a couple of blocks away.  Following our session the couple headed over to the Fair.  The next day we recevied an email thanking us for an enjoyable session and informing us that it was more fun than the Fair!  Awesome!  We can't wait to spend more time with this couple. :)

Drew & Liz/September 24th, 2011/The Hudson Manor/Fleuressence/Save The Date Music

We met this couple at the bridal show last January and were thrilled when they contacted us to book their wedding.  Their wedding day went perfectly and we were honored to photograph every special moment.  The Hudson Manor was a beautiful backdrop and Fleuressence's flowers were bold and creative.  Congratulations to Drew & Liz!!

Our family has know Ashley for many years now and we were so excited and honored when she selected us as her wedding photographer.  We photographed Ashley & Jeremy's engagement session in the summer of 2010 and their love for each other was completely obvious!  :)  After their engagement session, we couldn't wait for the wedding.  It was well worth the wait!!  The venue was perfect (1705 Prime), the flowers were gorgeous (Julie Liles Floral & Event Design), the food was delicious (Rocky Top Catering), and the music kept us dancing all night (TaylorMade DJ Services)!!!  Congratulations to Ashley & Jeremy!

We photographed Ashley's bridal session back in April at The Hall & Gardens at Landmark in Garner, NC.  She was so excited to wear her gown and just absolutely shined!  Her gorgeous bouquet was designed by Julie Liles Floral & Event Design.

We so enjoyed working with this couple. It is always wonderful to follow a couple's journey from the engagement session to the bridal session to the wedding. Busy Busy!!

Well, this summer is proving to be a very busy one!! Bridal sessions, weddings, family sessions, and the Southern Bridal Show have left us with very little time to blog! We think that's a great thing though!! Pics from recents sessions & weddings to come soon - as well as pics from our awesome booth at the bridal show. This past weekend was so much fun and really enjoyed meeting all of the brides, grooms, and their families!
